It is essential that there is unity and cooperation among governmental institutions in order to safeguard the country against any possible mishap, Ayatollah Ebrahim Amini said on Friday.
Addressing worshipers at Friday prayers in Qom, Amini said safeguarding the country is impossible with “perversity” and called on the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, the Basij, the police, judiciary officials, the parliament and other governmental bodies to cooperate to resolve the differences which arose after the presidential election.
He said that country’s problems are resolvable and the enemy must not be given any opportunity to take advantage of the situation.
If anyone suffered any injury or loss during the post-election unrest, he or she must be compensated, and if any innocent people were imprisoned, they must be released, he added.
Amini also said the true culprits must be brought to justice.
He went on to say that defamation is one of the greatest sins, noting that hundreds of accusations have been made in the media outlets but nobody has objected
